Quite pleased with that actually.

I have the rest of my holidays now to invest some time in a movie called Milk (not this milk) and to recreate my art board for school this year. Originally, as you can see in my previous post my focus was on 'stage lights'. However, I've found that light alone doesn't mean a lot to me so I'm bringing back the figures and being the awesome feminist I am, I'm creating a board which depicts how female musicians are left in the shadows of the music industry and how the light needs to fall somewhere else. It's an abstract kind of concept but it's something I care about so I'll make it work.

I expect the board to go realism --> cubism/furturism --> surreal furturism eventually getting to a point where I can emulate something like what Jeff Soto creates:
